Target group:
-
Pharmacists with a degree from EU countries
-
Pharmacists with a degree from non-EU countries

Pharmacists already employed with a temporary (and conditional) professional license, who are currently residing in Germany or Hesse
-
Refugee pharmacists with a prospect of staying
Objectives:
Our certified qualification programme primarily serves to prepare pharmacists with a foreign qualification for licensing by passing the mandatory specialist language and knowledge test.
Specifically, the specialist knowledge acquired in the programme, as well as the work shadowing phase and practical exercises on acting patients with medical equipment, should help participants to quickly adapt to the requirements of everyday working life and overcome their fear of the ‘language barrier’. In addition, knowledge of specialised vocabulary, medical communication in oral and written form and knowledge of applicable standards are taught. All of this makes it easier to enter professional life and conveys self-confidence as well as recognition from German colleagues and patients.
Admission requirements::
-
Degree completed abroad (EU or third countries) and
-
German language skills at least at level B2 (telc or Goethe-Institut)
Our courses are designed in modules that can also be booked individually. This allows flexible and individualised access and progression according to the needs of the participants.
We also offer various additional services to support learning, e.g. individual learning advice, a mentoring programme, accompanied learning groups, social and recognition advice, job application training and much more.
The complete qualification programme comprises the following modules:

While specialist language courses and work shadowing are fully eligible for funding from employment agencies and job centres, our special programmes for knowledge test preparation are for the target group of self-payers. The compact format as a part-time online course with pharmaceutically authorised lecturers enables intensive and targeted preparation for the examination at attractive conditions.
