Licence to practise dentistry

Certified qualification programme to prepare for the licence to practise dentistry for dentists with foreign qualifications

Incl. 5,5

group hours of approval counselling

Zielgruppe:

  • Dentists with a degree from EU countries

  • Dentists with a degree from non-EU countries

  • Dentists who are already employed with a temporary (and conditional) professional license, who are already residing in Germany, specifically in Hessen

  • Refugee dentists with a prospect of staying

Objectives:

Our certified qualification program is primarily aimed at preparing dentists with foreign degrees for obtaining their professional license by passing the mandatory professional language and knowledge exams.

Specifically, the professional knowledge acquired during the program, along with the observation phase and practical exercises with simulated patients using medical equipment, will help participants quickly adapt to the demands of their daily work and overcome the fear of the “language barrier.” Additionally, participants will acquire knowledge of specialized vocabulary, medical communication in both oral and written forms, and an understanding of relevant standards. This will ease their entry into professional life, build self-confidence, and garner recognition from German colleagues and patients.

Entry Requirements:

  • A completed degree from abroad (EU or non-EU countries)

  • German language skills at least at level B2 (telc or Goethe-Institut)

Our courses are designed in modules, which can also be booked individually. This allows for a flexible and personalized approach according to the needs of the participants.

Additionally, we offer various supplementary learning support services, such as individual learning counseling, a mentoring program, guided study groups, social and recognition counseling, job application training, and much more.
